Agency KeiSeven Nakamuraya announced on August 1 that Tsunehiko Kamijo, a renowned singer, actor, and voice actor, passed away on July 22 at the age of 85. He died of senility at a hospital near his home in Nagano Prefecture. A private funeral was held, limited to close family members.
A Life Rich in Talent and Achievements
Born in Nagano Prefecture on March 7, 1940, Kamijo began his career as a singer in June 1962. He gained widespread recognition when he won the Grand Prize at the 1971 World Popular Song Festival with his song "Tabidachi no Uta."

Kamijo's voice brought to life several memorable characters in anime, including:
