Exciting News: 'Let's Play' Anime Set to Premiere in October 2025
Crunchyroll has just released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming anime adaptation of 'Let's Play', a popular web comic created by Leeanne M. Krecic, also known as Mongie. The anime is produced by studio OLM and is scheduled to premiere in October 2025.

The latest trailer reveals additional cast members, a new staff member, and confirms the premiere date. Here are some of the new cast members:

- Yūichi Nakamura as Charles Jones
- Tomokazu Sugita as Link Hudson
Music for the series will be composed by Conisch.
The anime will air on Fuji TV's +Ultra programming block.

Premiere Details and Background
The world premiere took place at Anime Expo on July 3, with creator Leeanne M. Krecic, director Daiki Tomiyasu, and producers Heather Horn, Hana Sugawara, and Minaka Sakamoto in attendance.
'Let's Play' originally launched as a web comic on the Korean platform WEBTOON in 2016. The series concluded its third season in September 2022. Mongie announced that she would no longer update on WEBTOON due to issues like lack of marketing and pay disparities, but she plans to return in fall 2025 on an unspecified platform.
English Release
Rocketship Entertainment is publishing the comic in English, with the fourth volume released in July 2024. The story follows a young woman aiming to create incredible video games, only to face setbacks like a harsh review from a popular streamer who becomes her neighbor—a humorous and relatable tale about gaming, memes, and social anxiety.
