The Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2025 made history this Sunday by presenting its first-ever prize for Best Hindi Voice Artist Performance. The honor went to voice artist Lohit Sharma.

This marks a major milestone, as it's the inaugural year Crunchyroll has recognized excellence in the Hindi dubbing category.

Hindi Dub Makes Its Debut

For the first time, fans could watch the Crunchyroll Anime Awards with a dedicated Hindi dub. This new option was made available alongside the event’s global livestream.

• The awards ceremony took place in Tokyo and was streamed to audiences worldwide.
• Viewers had the chance to select Hindi audio during the event.
• The awards show aired on Crunchyroll’s YouTube and Twitch channels, along with Sony Pictures Core and Sony Group Corp Global’s YouTube channels.

2025 Winners and Highlights

Crunchyroll announced the full list of nominees on April 3. Fans could vote for their favorites on the Anime Awards website from April 3 to April 14.

This year’s big winner:

• Solo Leveling took home Anime of the Year, along with eight other awards. Full winner list.

• In 2024, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 won Anime of the Year.
• Indian actress Rashmika Mandanna presented an award at the 2024 ceremony.
