The September issue of Kodansha's Monthly Dessert magazine revealed some exciting news for fans of Megumi Morino's popular manga, A Condition Called Love (also known as Hananoi-kun to Koi no Yamai).

The original manga wrapped up in the same issue of Monthly Dessert on July 24. However, fans can look forward to more stories, as a side series will launch in the January issue of the magazine.

Manga Synopsis
Hotaru is a 16-year-old high school first-year who has always been ambivalent about love, preferring a lively life with her family and friends. When she sees her classmate, Hananoi-kun, sitting in the snow after a messy breakup, she offers to share her umbrella. The next day, he unexpectedly asks her out in class, and Hotaru feels her life might be about to change forever.
Anime Adaptation
The manga's anime adaptation premiered in April 2024. Fans can watch it on Crunchyroll, which streamed the series as it aired in Japan.
