During its recent games panel at Anime Expo, Aniplex of America confirmed some fantastic news for fans of the beloved franchise. The upcoming Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Magia Exedra smartphone game is set to launch on PC via Steam in summer 2025. This means players will be able to enjoy a seamless experience across both mobile and PC platforms, with game data being linkable!
Game Launch and Development Details
- The game launched for iOS and Android on March 27, after a delay to ensure higher quality.
- Developers include Pokelabo (known for Assault Lily: Last Bullet and SINoALICE) and f4samurai (creators of Magia Record and other titles).
- Aniplex is handling planning and distribution.
- The theme song, "Lighthouse" by FictionJunction featuring LINO LEIA, adds a special touch to the game.
- The animation was produced in collaboration with SHAFT and PINE JAM, with LDH Animation also contributing.
