New Spinoff Manga for Apocalypse Hotel Announced
Original character designer Izumi Takemoto launches spinoff manga in April.
The upcoming original television anime Apocalypse Hotel, produced by CyberAgent and its subsidiary Cygames Pictures, will premiere on April 8. The anime will be available for streaming on various platforms, including ABEMA, Lemino, and Animate Times in Japan.
In an exciting development, the anime's official social media account has revealed a spinoff manga titled Apocalypse Hotel Pusupusu (Apocalypse Hotel Sputtering), set to launch on Takeshobo's Storia Dash manga website in April. The manga will be illustrated by none other than Izumi Takemoto, who also designed the characters for the anime.

Anime Overview
The protagonist, Yachiyo, a robot managing the Ginzarō hotel, will be voiced by Saho Shirasu. The anime is directed by Kana Shundo, known for her work on notable series such as Saga of Tanya the Evil and Princess Connect! Re:Dive.
The character designs are handled by Izumi Takemoto and animation designs by Natsuki Yokoyama. The series scripts will be penned by Shigeru Murakoshi, with music composed by Yoshiaki Fujisawa.

Plot Synopsis
Set in a deserted hotel located in Tokyo's Ginza district, the story unfolds in a world where society has collapsed and nature is reclaiming the land. Yachiyo, alongside other robots, continues to uphold the Ginzarō hotel in the hope that the owners and guests will eventually return.
Recent Works and Future Projects
Cygames Pictures previously produced Brave Bang Bravern!, which aired in January 2024. The studio is also set to produce Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray, based on Taiyo Kuzumi's manga from the Uma Musume Pretty Derby franchise.
