Marvelous, Inc. has recently made news with some notable updates. Two members of the board have stepped up by voluntarily taking a 10% pay cut for two months, from February to March. However, the company hasn't disclosed the identities of these directors.
Before joining Marvelous in 2014, one of the directors, Terui, had an impressive career at Sega and Atlus, further strengthening the company's leadership.
Back in August 2024, Marvelous shared some organizational changes regarding its XSEED Games subsidiary. The beloved XSEED Games brand will continue to handle Western releases for third-party titles. At the same time, the company has rebranded its in-house Western releases to Marvelous USA.
On a more exciting note, Marvelous has just launched their latest game, Farmagia, in November 2024. This game is already making waves as it inspired a television anime adaptation that started airing on January 10.
Looking ahead, Marvelous is hard at work on new titles for the Rune Factory series. Fans can expect the upcoming Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma to hit the shelves on May 30, making its debut in both Japan and the West. Alongside this, Rune Factory 6 is also in development, much to the excitement of RPG and farming enthusiasts alike.
