Live-Action 'Baban Baban Ban Vampire' Film Set for July 4 Release
The official X/Twitter account for the live-action adaptation of Baban Baban Ban Vampire—based on Hiromasa Okujima's manga—has released a new character video. The clip features the main character, Ranmaru Mori, portrayed by Ryō Yoshizawa, singing in his role.

Originally scheduled for February 14, the film's release was delayed due to "various circumstances." The preview screening planned for January 21 was also canceled. The new release date is set for July 4.
Controversy Surrounding Lead Actor
Ryō Yoshizawa, who plays Ranmaru Mori, was recently questioned by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police regarding an incident on December 30. He was reportedly intoxicated and entered his neighbor’s apartment by mistake instead of his own.
His talent agency, AMUSE, issued a statement on January 6, confirming the incident. They mentioned Yoshizawa has apologized to his neighbor and has moved out of his previous residence.

Baban Baban Ban Vampire is a Bloody Love Comedy manga about a 450-year-old vampire named Ranmaru, who works part-time at an old public bath. He craves the blood of an 18-year-old virgin and watches over Rihito, the bathhouse owner's 15-year-old son, trying to prevent him from losing his virginity.
