Rapper Takes the Stage in Houston
American rapper Megan Thee Stallion captured the spotlight at Dream Con in Houston on May 30 by cosplaying as Yoruichi, a fan-favorite character from the anime Bleach.
She shared her look with fans on Instagram, writing, “Yoruichi Thee Stallion at Dream Convention.” Alongside her cosplay shots, Megan also posted photos of her nails, which she had decorated with designs inspired by Bleach character Kon.

New Animated Project Announcement
During the panel, the Houston Chronicle reported that Megan Thee Stallion announced an exclusive animated project coming to Amazon Prime Video. The project will be produced in partnership with Carl Jones, known for The Boondocks and Black Dynamite. Megan described the series as "anime," but details about involvement from Japanese creators or studios have not yet been shared. Both The Boondocks and Black Dynamite were animated by American and South Korean teams.
