Exciting News: 'My Dress-Up Darling' Season 2 Revealed!

The official website has announced the upcoming second season of the popular anime My Dress-Up Darling, based on Shinichi Fukuda's manga Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru. Fans can look forward to new visuals, a promotional video, and fresh cast members!

A promotional video previews the opening theme "Ao to Kirameki" by Spira Spica and the ending theme "Kawaii Kaiwai" by PiKi.

Premiere Details

The new season is set to premiere on July 5 at 24:00 JST (which is effectively July 6 at midnight).
It will air on channels like Tokyo MX, BS11, Tochigi TV, and Gunma TV.
Crunchyroll will stream the episodes as they air.

The manga inspired a 12-episode anime that premiered in January 2022.
Funimation and Crunchyroll streamed the series with English dubs.

About the Manga

Published by Square Enix Manga & Books, the manga tells the story of Wakana Gojō, a doll-artisan who finds solace in his craft after childhood trauma. His quiet life changes when the lively Marin Kitagawa discovers his secret hobby of cosplay and invites him into her world.

The manga started in Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine in January 2018.
It switched to monthly serialization in September 2023.
The story concluded with its 86th chapter in March 2025, but a bonus and epilogue are planned.
The manga's 14th volume was published in November 2024, with the 15th scheduled for July 25.
The English version's 13th volume was released on April 15, and the 14th volume is set for October 21.
