TOHO Animation released a teaser trailer for the eighth and final season of My Hero Academia on Monday. The trailer offers a glimpse of what's to come as the series wraps up.

Special Panel at Anime Expo
TOHO Animation will host a My Hero Academia Special Event panel at Anime Expo in Los Angeles. Details:
Date & Time: July 5, 10:00-11:20 a.m. PDT
Location: Peacock Theater
Guests: Voice actors Daiki Yamashita (Japanese Deku) and Justin Briner (English Deku), along with a Shonen Jump editor and a message from creator Kōhei Horikoshi.

The Blu-ray and DVD came out in Japan on February 19, including a bonus short, "A Piece of Cake".
Manga & Global Impact
Kōhei Horikoshi launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2014 and finished it in August 2024.
Published in English by Viz Media and MANGA Plus, the manga has surpassed 100 million copies in circulation worldwide as of April 2024.
The final volume, shipped in December 2024, includes 38 pages of new content that follow the original ending.
Spinoffs & Future Projects
My Hero Academia: Vigilantes
A TV anime series based on the spin-off manga by Hideyuki Furuhashi and Betten Court will premiere in April 2025.
Debuted on Tokyo MX and NTV channels on April 7.
Streamed globally on Crunchyroll, with an English dub available.
