Follow-up to the popular series from the world of Cyberpunk 2077, Netflix has just dropped a teaser for the upcoming Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2. Fans can look forward to a brand-new standalone story set in this gritty, futuristic universe.

Meet the Creative Team

Kai Ikarashi, who served as storyboard artist, animation director, animator, and prop designer for the first series, makes his directorial debut with this new installment.
Bartosz Sztybor, the series producer and writer, returns to craft the story.
Ichigo Kanno, lead character designer and animation director from the first series, continues to shape the visuals.
Masahiko Otsuka is back as the scriptwriter.

Series Details

This new series will stream exclusively on Netflix and features:

A fresh, standalone 10-episode story from the world of Cyberpunk 2077 — a raw chronicle of redemption and revenge.

The series promises to explore the extremes characters go to when the world is blinded by spectacle, raising the question: What does it take to make your story matter?

Background and Release

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners originally debuted on Netflix in September 2022, based on the acclaimed Cyberpunk 2077 game by CD PROJEKT RED, which itself is inspired by Mike Pondsmith’s tabletop RPG series.

Home Video Releases

North America: Complete Blu-ray set available from Aniplex of America on October 28.
Europe: Released by Anime Limited and Plaion Pictures.
Australia & New Zealand: Available through Sugoi Co.
