NHK Launches Grand Poll for Super Sentai Fans
The official X (formerly Twitter) account for NHK BS announced on March 29 that the Zen Super Sentai Dai Tohyo (All Super Sentai Grand Vote) poll will open on April 5. On the same day, a special video introducing the iconic Super Sentai franchise aired for fans.

Celebrating 50 Years of Super Sentai
According to the NHK website, this poll is part of NHK's ongoing "Zen Maru Maru Dai Tohyo (All [enter name] Grand Vote)" television program. It's the first time in three years the program is highlighting Super Sentai, marking the franchise's impressive 50th anniversary.
What Can You Vote For?
Fans can cast their votes in the following categories:
- Favorite Sentai series (from 49 distinct series)
- Favorite Sentai hero (from 300 characters)
- Favorite Sentai robot (from 160 robots)
Voting Schedule:
- Start: April 5, 4:00 p.m. (Japan Time)
- End: May 6, 11:59 p.m. (Japan Time)
Broadcast and Streaming Details
The results show, Zen Super Sentai Dai Tohyo, will air on NHK BS on May 17 at 7:30 p.m.
If you miss the broadcast, you'll be able to watch the program for one week afterward on the online streaming service NHK+. Please note, an NHK license fee is required to access NHK+.
