Spike Chunsoft has unveiled a new trailer for No Sleep For Kaname Date - From AI: The Somnium Files, continuing the popular series created by Kōtarō Uchikoshi. The trailer highlights key gameplay elements, including the newly introduced Escape segments, as well as returning Investigation and Somnium gameplay.

Release Details
No Sleep For Kaname Date is set to launch on July 25 for Nintendo Switch, the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
Story and Development Team
The game follows protagonist Kaname Date, a detective with an artificial left eye that allows him to enter people's dreams. In this installment, Date investigates puzzles and searches for internet idol Iris within an escape game setting.

About the Series
The original AI: The Somnium Files launched in September 2019 on PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC worldwide. Set in a near-future Tokyo, players control Kaname Date, who investigates a serial killer responsible for strange murders. The game’s unique feature is Date's artificial left eye that contains an AI, enabling him to explore suspects’ and witnesses’ memories through dream-like realms called "Somnium."
The sequel, AI: The Somnium Files - nirvanA Initiative, released in June 2022 across PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. Despite initial delays due to manufacturing and shipping challenges, it was warmly received and expanded upon the original's intriguing narrative and gameplay.
