Exciting Updates on the New 'Odekake Kozame' Anime Film
Lozareena will perform the theme song "Where you come from" for the upcoming anime film Eiga Odekake Kozame Tokai no Otomodachi (Film Little Shark's Outings: The City's Friend). The film, based on Penguin Box's manga Odekake Kozame, is set to premiere in Japan on August 22.

The film's staff revealed a second trailer, a new visual, and announced additional cast members:

- Sayaka Kikuchi as Model Lady
- Naomi Kusumi as Ojii-san

- Ryōta Suzuki as Dobel-san

The single for Lozareena's song will be released on August 20, with cover art featuring characters from the film.

Character Visuals and Film Details
On July 10, a new character visual was unveiled, featuring Mohican Aniki, voiced by Yuichiro Umehara. The film will open in theaters across Japan on August 22.

- Yūichirō Umehara as Man with a Mohawk

The film is directed by Chihiro Kumano at ENGI, with a script by Hiroaki Nagashima. Character design is by Ayumi Takeuchi, and music is composed by Yoshiaki Fujisawa.
Plot Overview
The story follows Kozame-chan, who embarks on a trip to the city after seeing a dazzling poster at Yaocho's train station. Dazed by a shark-shaped cloud, she boards a train and begins a big adventure in the bright, bustling city.
Background and Manga Origins
Penguin Box debuted the manga Odekake Kozame on X (formerly Twitter) in June 2021. The manga's sixth volume was shipped in Japan on December 24. It depicts the nostalgic daily adventures of a young shark.
The manga's first anime adaptation premiered on YouTube in August 2023, with its final episode streaming in May 2024. Kana Hanazawa also performed the theme song "Yorimichi" (Detour).
