Orville Peck Joins Live-Action 'Street Fighter' Film Cast
Notable Cast Lineup Announced
Country musician Orville Peck is making his feature film debut in the upcoming live-action adaptation of CAPCOM's popular Street Fighter series, according to Deadline. Peck, known for his performance in the Broadway play Cabaret, will join a growing cast for this much-anticipated movie.
Star-Studded Team Up
Deadline previously reported that these stars will also co-star:
- Andrew Koji (Snake Eyes)
- Jason Momoa (Aquaman, Game of Thrones)
- Noah Centineo (Warfare)
- Roman Reigns (WWE professional wrestler)
All are now confirmed as part of the ensemble.

What We Know About the Production
- Release Date Unclear: The film was originally set to open on March 20, 2026. However, Sony has since removed it from its release calendar, and no new date has been announced.
- Director: The project will be directed by Kitao Sakurai (The Eric Andre Show, Bad Trip).
- Production Companies: Legendary Entertainment acquired rights in April 2023 and is collaborating with CAPCOM for future projects.
- Initially, directors Danny and Michael Philippou were attached, but they departed to focus on another film.
