About Fumio Obata
Fumio Obata is known for other successful titles like Shimauma, which debuted in 2010 in Shonengahosha's Young King magazine. Shimauma was adapted into a live-action film in May 2016, starring Kyoko Hinami.
Obata also created a spinoff of Tetsuya Tsutui's Prophecy (Yokokuhan) manga, titled Yokokuhan: The Copycat. This work began in Jump X magazine and later moved to Young Jump before concluding in August 2015. The third and final volume was released by Shueisha that same month.
