The story is set in Alicepia, a mysterious ancient country inhabited by the cheerful Alicepians. Their peace is threatened when mysterious monsters called Jamaock appear. The series follows the princesses who, despite the danger, never forget the song in their hearts.
Unlike typical anime that use pre-recorded songs during battles, Princession Orchestra features voice cast members singing new versions of songs in each episode's recording sessions.
