Exciting News: 'PUNKS TRIANGLE' Manga Gets Live-Action Adaptation!
Seven Seas Entertainment is bringing Yuho Okita's fashion-themed manga, PUNKS TRIANGLE, to English readers. The first compiled volume of the manga, which originally ran from May 2022 to May 2023, is now available in English as of April 15.
About the Manga
PUNKS TRIANGLE follows Chiaki, a fashion student with big dreams of seeing his designs on the runway, worn by his idol, the charismatic male model Ai. When a prestigious competition offers a chance to make that dream come true, Chiaki is eager to win. However, things take a turn when he's paired with Enaga, a clumsy and unfashionable classmate.
One night, after an encounter with delinquents, Chiaki is unexpectedly saved by Ai. The model then makes a surprising offer to teach him how to enjoy himself at night. Caught between his admiration for Ai and his feelings for Enaga, who might be hiding a secret, Chiaki faces a heart-pounding dilemma that explores themes of boy's love.
Publication Journey
- The manga was first published in Tokyo Mangasha's NUUDE web magazine from May to July 2022.
- It then moved to Shueisha's .Bloom web magazine in November 2022, running until May 2023.
- The first volume was shipped in July 2023, and Seven Seas released the English version in April.
- A sequel manga, PUNKS TRIANGLE stitch, launched in .Bloom in September 2024.
