The Rascal Does Not Dream series was originally written by Hajime Kamoshida and published by Kadokawa. The first novel was released in April 2014, with the latest, the 14th titled Seishun Buta Yarō wa Girlfriend no Yume wo Minai, shipping in August 2024. The final volume, Seishun Buta Yarō wa Dear Friend no Yume wo Minai, was released in October 2024.
Yen Press is publishing the series in English.
