Record of Ragnarok III: New Cast and Premiere Details
The official website for Record of Ragnarok III, the highly anticipated third season of the anime based on the manga by Shinya Umemura, Azychika, and Takumi Fukui, has revealed exciting updates, including a new visual and cast members.

New Cast Members Announced
The latest cast additions include some prominent voice actors portraying key characters:
- Makoto Furukawa as Nikola Tesla
- Daisuke Namikawa as Beelzebub
- Hiroshi Shirokuma as King Leonidas
- Kenichi Suzumura as Apollo
These characters' voices appeared in the trailer that was unveiled during Anime Expo by Netflix and Warner Bros. Japan. Although the new cast was not officially announced at that time, fans now have the full lineup.

Premiere and Staff
The third season is set to debut on Netflix in December 2025. The new anime will feature a different staff, with Koichi Hatsumi (known for Tokyo Revengers) directing at Yumeta Company in collaboration with Maru Animation. The main writer is Yasuyuki Mutō, and the character designs are handled by Yōko Tanabe and Hisashi Kawashima. Music will be composed by Yasuharu Takanashi, returning to the project.
Season Highlights
Warner Bros. Japan describes the upcoming season as:
"The saga continues with 13 one-on-one battles for the survival of humanity, pitting gods against humans from across the world. Witness the fateful seventh battle: the final fight to break the 3-3 tie between the gods and humans. Blood flows and fists fly in these intense battles of strong convictions!"

- The first season of Record of Ragnarok aired on Netflix in June 2021.
- The second season, Record of Ragnarok II, debuted its first part in January 2023, with episodes 11-15 released in July 2023.
Manga and Licensing
The manga, launched in Comic Zenon in November 2017, continues to expand with several spinoffs, including Shūmatsu no Walküre Kitan and Record of Ragnarok Forbidden Tale.
Viz Media is releasing the series digitally and in print in English, with Mangamo having licensed the manga since March 2022.
Video Game
Fans can also enjoy the battle role-playing smartphone game titled Record of Ragnarok: The Day of Judgment, which launched on March 31.
