Edomae no Sushi to Continue After Creator's Death
Long-running manga Edomae no Sushi will continue despite the passing of its original creator, Shin Tsukumo, who died on February 17 due to health issues.

Continuation of the Series
The official X/Twitter account for Edomae no Sushi announced that the series will carry on past its current 1,292nd chapter with the consent of Tsukumo's family. Going forward, Tsukumo will still be credited for his original concept.
Legacy of Shin Tsukumo
Shin Tsukumo is best known for creating Edomae no Sushi, which tells the story of a sushi chef. This beloved series first debuted in March 1993 in Weekly Manga Goraku, illustrated by Terushi Satō. The manga is published by Nihonbungeisha, and its 126th volume was released on December 18. The series has spawned several spinoffs and a live-action adaptation that premiered in 2018.
Tsukumo also collaborated with artist Kō Rokugatsugaki on the manga Namida Meshi.
