Manga Announcement: Hiatus Confirmed
The 14th issue of Hakusensha's Young Animal magazine revealed on Friday that Hiroshi Fukuda's manga Rock is a Lady’s Modesty (Rock wa Lady no Tashinamideshite) will go on hiatus for a while. The magazine did not specify a return date.
Fukuda, known for works like Mushibugyō and Gofun-go no Sekai, launched this manga in October 2022. The series has been well-received, with Hakusensha publishing its seventh volume on March 28.
Series Overview
Rock is a Lady’s Modesty is a youth manga set in an all-girls' school, where students from across the country gather. The story follows Lilisa Suzunomiya, who, after her mother remarried, became the daughter of a real estate tycoon. She initially abandons her guitar and love for rock music to act like a wealthy young lady. However, her passion for rock is reignited when she meets a talented drummer attending the same school.
Anime Adaptation and Streaming
The manga's success led to a TV anime adaptation that premiered on April 3, airing for 13 episodes. The series is available for streaming on HIDIVE as it airs.

Yen Press has licensed the series and plans to release the first volume in September.
