Sunrise Announces Sequel to 'Yoroiden Samurai Troopers'
During an anniversary screening of the Yoroiden Samurai Troopers anime at Shinjuku Piccadilly, Sunrise revealed plans for a new sequel titled Yoroi Shin Den Samurai Troopers. The announcement was accompanied by a teaser trailer and visual:

Plot Overview
Set in present-day Shinjuku, the story follows five boys who wear Yoroi Gear samurai armor to battle the demon emperor Arago.
Background of the Original Series
- The original Yoroiden Samurai Troopers aired in 1988-1989, later known outside Japan as Ronin Warriors on Cartoon Network.
- The series has been released on DVD by Bandai Entertainment and Discotek Media, including full series with English subtitles in 2015.
- Discotek also produced an OVA series with both English and Japanese audio.
