Exciting Announcements from Sekai Project at Anime Expo 2025
Sekai Project made some thrilling announcements during their panel at Anime Expo on Saturday! They revealed that they have licensed several visual novels for PC release on Steam, along with some new merchandise.
New Licensed Visual Novels

- Onii-chan Continue! by Panmimi Soft
- Nandome kano Hajimemashite by Purple Software
- Sunrider Legends Tactics by Love in Space
In addition to these games, Sekai Project announced new plushies based on characters from Nekopara and a vinyl record of the Clannad original soundtrack.
Spotlight on Each Visual Novel
Widenyo
The continent of Folland has been ravaged by decades of war, fought between countries with massive mobile fortresses. The tiny kingdom of Mamatoto, with just one fortress, survives by outrunning its larger enemies. Rumors speak of a mysterious cave called the Othergrotto, believed to hold a powerful rift to other worlds. King Kakaro aims to conquer it, but instead, a tiny girl emerges from a magical device meant to summon heroes from other worlds.
This game originally debuted in 2009, updating an earlier version from 2003.
Onii-chan Continue!
Shirayuki Hayato is a working adult caring for his younger sister, Yuri, in place of their absent parents. Yuri is perfect in public but lazy at home, often gaming instead of chores. Her friend Ruru visits frequently, and Hayato faces the challenge of balancing his role as an older brother and a man. The game is set for release in Q3 2025.
Nandome kano Hajimemashite
Kinou Yumeto leads a mundane life until he encounters a demon named Laplace, who transports him 13 years into the past. Surrounded by familiar faces and places, Yumeto hopes to rewrite his world and change his life. The game is being developed by Purple Software with art by Pan, aiming for a Q3 release.
Sunrider Legends Tactics
The Sunrider series returns in a new fantasy universe! Players can take on the role of a naval captain during the age of sail, commanding their fleet in tactical turn-based battles. The game is scheduled for release on Steam on August 1.
Additional Merchandise & Campaigns
Sekai Project is also launching a crowdfunding campaign to produce plushies of Maple and Cinnamon from Nekopara. They haven't announced a release date yet for the Clannad soundtrack vinyl.
