Sega has revealed an exciting new trailer for Shinobi: Art of Vengeance, the latest entry in its iconic Shinobi franchise. The game is scheduled to launch across multiple platforms including PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC on August 29.

Sega describes Shinobi: Art of Vengeance as follows:
Shinobi: Art of Vengeance follows Joe Musashi, the series' longtime hero and ninja master. After returning home from a previous mission, Joe finds his village burned and his clan turned to stone. Driven by revenge, he embarks on an epic quest, battling enemies and gigantic bosses through beautifully hand-drawn worlds. Packed with multiple paths, smooth gameplay, and high energy combat, players will be constantly engaged—attacking and reacting on the move, eager to keep playing.

The game is being developed by Lizardcube, a studio based in Paris.
A Brief History of Shinobi
Sega first launched the Shinobi arcade game way back in 1987. The franchise has seen numerous releases over the years, with the latest being Shinobi 3D for the Nintendo 3DS in 2011.
