Sega Announces Closed Network Test for Sonic Racing CrossWorlds
Closed network test runs from February 22 to 24
During Sony's recent State of Play livestream, Sega unveiled an exciting trailer for the upcoming game, Sonic Racing CrossWorlds. This highly anticipated title will be available on multiple platforms, including:
- PlayStation 5
- PlayStation 4
- Xbox One
- Xbox Series X|S
- Nintendo Switch
- PC via Steam and Epic Games Store
In addition to the trailer, Sega announced a closed network test scheduled for February 22 to 24.
Network Test Details
Applications for the network test are currently open and will remain so until February 18. Participants will have access to:
- Six courses
- Five crossworlds
- Nine racers
- Four cars
- Worldwide matches
- Customization options
Previous Release
Sega previously released Team Sonic Racing in May 2021, available both physically and digitally for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, with a digital-only release on PC. This kart racing game features beloved characters from the Sonic franchise and offers both online multiplayer and single-player modes, including team vs. team gameplay.
