Exciting News: Shiroha Naruse Arc Begins in 'Summer Pockets' Anime
The popular anime adaptation of Visual Arts/Key's visual novel Summer Pockets is gearing up for a new chapter! The official website revealed that the 'Shiroha Naruse arc' will start in the 15th episode, airing this Monday.

Series Overview and Broadcast Details
The Summer Pockets anime premiered on Tokyo MX and BS11 on April 7, followed by MBS and Shizuoka Broadcasting System on April 8. It also aired on AT-X on April 10 and TV Setouchi on April 11. Fans worldwide can stream the series on Crunchyroll as it airs in Japan.
A compilation film is scheduled for release in Japan on August 15, summarizing the series.
About the Original Game
The visual novel Summer Pockets was first released for PC in June 2018 in Japan. It later expanded to Nintendo Switch in June 2019, both digitally and physically. An upgraded version, Summer Pockets REFLECTION BLUE, launched for PC in June 2020, with subsequent releases on mobile, Switch, and PlayStation 4.
The game’s English version became available on Steam in February 2020, allowing a global audience to experience the nostalgic story set on a remote island during summer.
Creative Team and Story
The story was originally conceived by Jun Maeda (known for Kanon, AIR, Clannad, Angel Beats!). The character designs and illustrations were provided by Na-Ga, Tsubasu Izumi, Nagayama, and Fumuyun.
Scenario writing was handled by Yū Niijima, Kai, and Hasama, with music composed by Maeda, Shinji Orito, Donmaru, and Tomohiro Takeshita.
Manga and Spin-offs
A manga adaptation titled Summer Pockets -Natsu no Takaramono- began serialization on Shueisha's Tonari no Young Jump website on May 30. Additionally, a spin-off manga called Summer Pockets Mugyu Days Tsumugi no Shima Sanpo launched in Kadokawa's Dengeki Moeoh magazine and KadoComi website on February 28. The spin-off features artwork by original illustrator Yūnon Nagayama.
