New Manga Announcement: Saigo no Negai ni Tsuki ga Naku
The September issue of Kadokawa's Shōnen Ace magazine has exciting news for manga fans! On Saturday, it was revealed that Suu Minazuki will launch a new manga titled Saigo no Negai ni Tsuki ga Naku (The Moon Cries at My Last Wish) in the upcoming issue on August 26.
A Tale of Humans vs. Vampires
This new series promises an engaging story centered around two childhood friends, Niizuki and Asahi, living on a small island. The story explores themes of fear, friendship, and supernatural conflict.
- Asahi, who is usually afraid of the night, dares to attend a summer festival.
- During the festival, Asahi inadvertently undoes a seal at a local shrine.
- This act unleashes a bewitchingly angelic vampire girl, turning the festival into a massacre.

Minazuki's Recent Works
Suu Minazuki recently ended the manga Excellent Property, Rejects for Residents in August 2024, with its fifth and final volume published in October.
- Minazuki launched this series in Shōnen Ace in December 2022.
- The manga is available in English through Yen Press, which released the third volume on April 8.
Previously, Minazuki created Dokunie Cooking (Cooking Poisoned Offerings), which was published in Hakusensha's Young Animal from October 2017 to March 2019.
Notable Past Works
- Sora no Otoshimono (Heaven's Lost Property): Launched in March 2007, ended in January 2014. It inspired two anime series, two movies, and an OVA.
- Minazuki's manga Judas and Gou-dere Sora Nagihara have also been published in English by Tokyopop and Yen Press.
