The 29th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump published the ending of Syd Craft: Love Is a Mystery on Monday. The story was created by Taishi Tsutsui, known for his previous work, We Never Learn.

Taishi Tsutsui previously launched We Never Learn (Boku-tachi wa Benkyō ga Dekinai) in February 2017. The manga ended in December 2020, with its 21st and final volume published in March 2021.

An anime adaptation based on We Never Learn premiered in April 2019, consisting of 13 episodes.
The series was licensed by Aniplex of America and streamed on Hulu, Crunchyroll, and FunimationNow.
