Brief History of the Game
The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls: Starlight Stage launched for iOS and Android devices in 2015, becoming a popular rhythm game. The PC version was introduced later, in fall 2021.
This isn’t the first game in the Cinderella Girls franchise to end service. The very first Cinderella Girls game shut down on March 30, 2023.
About the Franchise
The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls started as a mobile social game, a spinoff of the original The IDOLM@STER series. Unlike the original, which focused on a small group of idols, Cinderella Girls introduced a larger cast of characters within a big idol agency, expanding into manga and anime adaptations.
In 2023, the Cinderella Girls U149 manga inspired a new anime series.
