Roku Souna's 'Gizmo Riser' Manga Debuts in English This April

English Release Confirmed

Titan Manga has announced the upcoming English release of Roku Souna's manga, Gizmo Riser. The 12-chapter series will be available starting April 28.

• Pre-order: The first volume is up for pre-order at Forbidden Planet in the U.K.
• Availability: North American retailers will also stock the title soon.

Story Overview

Titan Manga describes Gizmo Riser:

In the towering kingdom of Urunaria, society is literally built on inequality. The wealthiest reside at the top, while the poor are confined to the dark, crumbling depths below. For Kuro, a young slave raised by his uncle in the lowest levels, life offers no future—only labor, loss, and silence. But when his uncle is executed by the state, Kuro inherits a mysterious device: Gizmo—a pair of mechanical gloves with the power to grip, scale, and defy the very system built to crush him.

Armed with nothing but this outlawed tool and his burning desire for freedom, Kuro begins his ascent, both up the tower and against a society that deems him worthless.

• Manga Launch: Roku Souna's 12-chapter manga began serialization on Mag Garden's Mag Comi website in May 2024 and concluded on May 2.
