Announcement of Hiatus and Return
The September issue of Shinshokan's Wings magazine revealed that Tomato Soup's manga Kanshin Smbat (Disloyal Retainer Smbat) will go on hiatus. The manga is scheduled to return in the June 2026 issue, with the hiatus beginning in April 2026.
About the Manga
This manga explores the story of Smbat II of the House of Orbelian, a historical figure. The Orbelian dynasty ruled the Kingdom of Georgia under Mongol dominance. Smbat II, however, was known for his resistance, trying to undermine Mongol rule while maintaining a facade of loyalty.
Publication Timeline
