Takao, a talented manga creator, has recently passed away. His family announced via his X/Twitter account on July 5 that Takao died on June 30 due to a heart attack. They held a private funeral to honor his memory.

Ukyou Takao is best known for his work on manga adaptations of popular anime series, especially those based on visual novels.
