Game Launches Worldwide on September 19

Mark your calendars! The highly anticipated remake of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky (also known as Sora no Kiseki the 1st) is set to launch globally on September 19. You can play it on Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.

New Trailers Reveal Voice Lines

GungHo Online Entertainment and Nihon Falcom recently released trailers showcasing both English and Japanese voice lines for the character Olivier. Fans got a sneak peek last Friday, and the trailers are available for viewing:

Matthew Mercer voices Olivier in the English dub.

A Brief History of the Series

The original Trails in the Sky debuted in Japan for PC in 2004.
It was later released on PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 3, and Vita.
In 2011, XSEED Games localized and released the game for PlayStation Portable.
The game even inspired an anime adaptation in 2011.

Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga — a crossover fighting game set to release in summer 2025 for PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC. More details here.
Trails Through Daybreak II (also known as Kuro no Kiseki II -CRIMSON SiN-) — released in English on February 14 for Switch, PS4, PS5, and Steam by NIS America. The game launched in Japan for PS4 and PS5 in September 2022, and for Switch in July 2024.
