This special edition is set to appear in the magazine's super-sized April issue, hitting shelves on February 20, 2025.

The one-shot, authored by Toyotarō, will specifically focus on Trunks and his motivation to fight for justice as part of the Saiyaman X team. Current Status of the Manga
The Dragon Ball Super manga began its indefinite hiatus in April 2024. This follows the tragic passing of Akira Toriyama, the creator of the beloved Dragon Ball series, who passed away in March 2024 at the age of 68 due to an acute subdural hematoma.
Before the hiatus, the manga had been actively adapting significant arcs. In March 2023, the story transitioned into the "Super Hero" arc, which is based on the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero film.

- August 2022: Took a break to prepare for a new arc.
- December 2022: Resumed serialization with a fresh arc.
- April 2024: Entered an indefinite hiatus following the "Super Hero" arc.
The 23rd compiled volume of the manga was published in April 2024. Meanwhile, Viz Media continues to publish the manga online as chapters debut in Japan.
