Tekken 8 Season 2: New Characters and Stages Announced
Exciting Additions to the Game
On Monday, Bandai Namco Entertainment unveiled the roadmap for Season 2 of Tekken 8, introducing four new DLC characters and two fresh stages. The first character, Anna Williams, will be available for early access to Season 2 Character & Stage Pass holders on March 31, with all players gaining access on April 3.
Character Details
- Anna Williams will come with four unique costumes.
- A new stage is set to launch in summer, alongside additional DLC characters revealed for summer, autumn, and winter. The final stage for Season 2 will debut in winter.
Game Launch and Popularity
Tekken 8 officially launched on January 26 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. At launch, the game featured 32 characters and has since crossed 2 million copies in sales worldwide as of February.
Storyline Overview
The narrative of Tekken 8 unfolds nearly six months after the events of Tekken 7. The franchise is recognized by the Guinness World Records for having the longest-running narrative in video game history.

DLC Characters
The first DLC character, Eddy Gordo, was added in April, followed by Lidia Sobieska in July and Heihachi Mishima in September. The second season pass is expected to launch in spring 2025.
Additionally, Clive Rosfield, the protagonist from Square Enix's Final Fantasy XVI, will join the roster on December 16.
