Teren Mikami's Girls' Love Comedy Series Approaches Conclusion
Teren Mikami, known for his engaging storytelling, initially self-published his girls' love comedy in 2018. The eighth volume of his light novel series, Onna Dōshi toka Arienai Desho to Iiharu Onna no Ko o, 100-kakan de Attōteki ni Otosu Yuri no Ohanashi, announced on February 15 that the series will conclude with its upcoming ninth volume.
Plot Overview
The story revolves around Marika Sakikabara, a popular high school girl who firmly believes that a romantic relationship between two girls is impossible. However, her perspective is challenged when class beauty Aya Fuwa offers her 10,000 yen a day to test this theory over 100 days.
Publication Journey
- 2018: Mikami self-publishes the light novel digitally.
- 2020: The first volume is physically published by SB Creative.
- Illustrations: Initially illustrated by Yukiko until volume three, with Wata taking over from volume four.
Manga Adaptation
In 2020, Kayako launched a manga adaptation of the light novels on Square Enix's Manga UP! service. This adaptation concluded with its third compiled volume in 2022.

Mikami is also scripting the anime adaptation of the cosaic and Group SNE party game, Murder Mystery of the Dead, which premiered on November 13.
