New 3D Arena Fighting Game: Bleach - Rebirth of Souls

Bandai Namco Entertainment has officially unveiled an exciting new addition to the Bleach franchise: Bleach: Rebirth of Souls. This upcoming 3D arena fighting game will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
Character Trailer Released
On Monday, the company released an English character trailer showcasing the abilities of Kaien Shiba. Check out the trailer below:

Game Features
Bleach: Rebirth of Souls is set to launch on March 21, and will have a Deluxe Edition that includes:
- A season pass with four upcoming playable characters
- Early access for one week
- Soul Crystals
Additionally, the Ultimate Edition will offer five costume sets inspired by both Thousand-Year Blood War and Rebirth of Souls. Pre-orders will come with a Thousand-Year Blood War costume set as a bonus.
Gameplay Mechanics
Players will engage in battles using attacks to deplete their opponents' Reishi. Key gameplay elements include:
- Decreasing the opponent's Konpaku (health), represented by nine bars
- Utilizing combos to take down multiple Konpaku
- Performing reverse actions while attacking and defending
- Accumulating spiritual power to activate Spiritual Pressure Moves and ultimately awaken and unleash Bankai.
The storyline will span from the "Substitute Soul Reaper" arc to the "Arrancar" arc of the original manga.

Bandai Namco America describes the game as:
"Awaken the blade and reverse your fate in BLEACH REBIRTH OF SOULS. Engage in thrilling action-packed battles with iconic characters from the legendary anime franchise including Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Uryu Ishida, and Yasutora Sado (Chad). Players will be able to unleash unique sword abilities like Bankai and unlock new forms in battle to claim victory against their opponents."
20th Anniversary Inspiration
The development of this game was inspired by the 20th anniversary of the Bleach anime, enhancing its significance for fans.
