New Details on Rock is a Lady's Modesty Anime Adaptation

The official website for the upcoming anime adaptation of Rock is a Lady's Modesty (Japanese: Rock wa Lady no Tashinamideshite), based on the manga by Hiroshi Fukuda, has unveiled exciting new content. On Thursday, they released a "gap visual" and a character video featuring Otoha Kurogane, voiced by Miyuri Shimabukuro.

Character Details

The anime features Akira Sekine as Lilisa Suzunomiya alongside Miyuri Shimabukuro as Otoha Kurogane. It is set to premiere in April on TBS and 27 of its affiliate channels, airing Thursdays at 11:56 p.m. JST.

Behind the Scenes

Directed by Shinya Watada (known for Aikatsu Stars! and The IDOLM@STER Million Live!), the animation is produced by BN Pictures. Ōri Yasukawa serves as the assistant director, with Shogo Yasukawa handling the series scripts and Risa Miyadani responsible for character designs. Yasufumi Soejima is the visual director.

Plot Overview

Set in an all-girls' school, the story follows Lilisa Suzunomiya, a girl who sacrifices her passion for rock music to fit into her new life as the daughter of a real estate tycoon. Her love for music is reignited when she encounters a talented drummer from her school.

Hiroshi Fukuda launched the manga in Young Animal in October 2022. The first volume was published by Hakusensha in April 2023, with the seventh volume scheduled for release on March 28, 2024.
