Exciting News for Anime Fans: ano to Perform Theme Song for Me & Roboco Film
Artist ano is set to perform the theme song "Lolilokkyun Robo❤" for the upcoming film adaptation of the popular anime Me & Roboco. This announcement was made in the 14th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on Monday.
Special Stage at AnimeJapan 2025
In addition to the theme song, the film will feature a special stage event at AnimeJapan 2025 on March 22, where ano will make a guest appearance.

Originally scheduled for Winter 2024, the film's release has been delayed to April 18, 2025. This decision was made to enhance the film's quality, ensuring a better viewing experience for fans.
Multiverse Storyline
The film will explore a multiverse storyline, featuring various versions of the character Roboco. The cast includes:
- Mayumi Tanaka as Roboco from a straightforward battle world line.
- Masako Nozawa as Roboco from a Showa-era gag manga world line.
- Sumire Uesaka as Roboco from a romantic comedy world line.
- Shigeru Chiba as Roboco from a classic sci-fi action world line.
- Shun Matsuo will reprise his role as the normal Roboco.
Background on Me & Roboco
The television anime adaptation of Shūhei Miyazaki's Me & Roboco premiered in December 2022 on TV Tokyo and concluded in June 2023. Each episode was five minutes long, and Crunchyroll began streaming the series in July 2023.
Manga Availability
The manga is available in English through MANGA Plus and Viz Media, with simultaneous digital releases alongside the Japanese version. Viz Media also started releasing compiled volumes in October 2021.
