Miyashita's manga began as a one-shot in Shonengahosha's Young King Ours magazine in April 2019, before launching into serialization two months later. The seventh compiled volume was published this past May.
The name of the alien character is a nod to Mū, a magazine known for its focus on paranormal matters, which has been referenced in various anime and manga.
