Retailers are gearing up for the release of the 75th issue of Shodensha's OnBLUE boys-love magazine, which will feature the final chapter of Michi Ichiho and Takako Shimura's manga, Only Talk. This issue is set to ship on Tuesday, with the compiled book volume scheduled for release on April 25.
About the Manga
The story revolves around Tō Komine, a young manzai comedy performer who has been in the industry for five years. However, his enthusiasm for comedy has waned, except for his admiration for an older peer, Akira Iida, whose work reignites his passion.
Creative Team
Ichiho and Shimura launched Only Talk in the 70th issue of OnBLUE in April 2024. Ichiho is responsible for the writing, while Shimura handles the artwork.
Michi Ichiho's Background
Ichiho is known for the Yes, No, or Maybe? light novel series, illustrated by Lala Takemiya, which debuted in November 2014. The series has been published in English by Seven Seas and inspired an anime that premiered in December 2020, streaming on Crunchyroll.
Takako Shimura's Acclaimed Works
Shimura is celebrated for her works such as Wandering Son and Sweet Blue Flowers, both of which have been adapted into television anime series. She has also contributed character designs for various anime, including Aldnoah.Zero and Battery the Animation. Her manga Even Though We're Adults is set to inspire a live-action series debuting on April 26.
