Exciting News: 'The Vermillion Mask' Gets an Anime Adaptation!
Yomiuri TV announced at its panel during Anime Expo that the manga The Vermillion Mask (also known as Shuiro no Kamen) by Dr. Poro and Nabana Naba is inspiring a new anime series. Although the debut date and format haven't been revealed yet, fans can look forward to a trailer and visuals, which were showcased with English subtitles.

Plot Overview: Yomiuri TV describes the story as follows:
At the center is Peru, a young apprentice mask maker who, under the influence of a cursed mask, loses control and tragically slays his master and friends. Wracked with guilt, Peru embarks on a journey to destroy the legendary masks his master once created. Along the way, he encounters unlikely allies and deadly enemies, leading to a gripping battle for redemption. The fate of Peru's soul—and the world—hangs in the balance.
