WEBTOON Expands with New Collaborations and Popular IPs
WEBTOON will soon introduce a lineup of new comics based on well-known franchises such as Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher, and The Legend of Korra. This expansion signifies WEBTOON's ongoing efforts to bring fresh storytelling to its platform.

Partnership with Dark Horse Comics
WEBTOON Entertainment Inc. announced on Tuesday that it is expanding its partnership with Dark Horse Comics to bring a slate of popular intellectual properties (IPs) to its English-language platform. The new titles include:
- Cyberpunk 2077 – Original stories from Night City.
- Critical Role: The Mighty Nein Origins – A webcomic adaptation of the tabletop RPG.
- The Witcher – Dark fantasy adventures following Geralt of Rivia.
- The Legend of Korra – A continuation of the beloved animated series, available exclusively in vertical-scroll format.
- Plants vs. Zombies™ – A comic series based on the popular game franchise.
These titles are expected to start rolling out in the second half of 2025.
This deal builds on the success of the Avatar: The Last Airbender comics, which have already attracted over 13 million views on WEBTOON.

- The Witcher – Follow Geralt’s dark fantasy journey.
- The Legend of Korra – Continue the story in a new comic format.
- Critical Role: The Mighty Nein Origins – Experience classic tabletop RPG tales in webcomic format.
- Cyberpunk 2077 – Dive into Night City’s universe with original stories.
- Plants vs. Zombies™ – Enjoy new adventures from the game series.
Launch dates for these titles will be announced later.

Recent Changes and Collaborations
- Dark Horse Comics shut down its Digital service in February, and support for its Comics apps on iOS ended on March 31.
- WEBTOON has partnered with IDW Publishing to bring popular titles, including the reformatted Godzilla series.
- Recently, WEBTOON also added Fullmetal Alchemist manga by Hiromu Arakawa to its platform on May 7.
