WEBTOON Partners with Saturday AM to Bring Inclusive Comics to a Global Audience
Exciting news for comic fans! WEBTOON Entertainment has announced a new partnership with Saturday AM, a well-known brand dedicated to promoting BIPOC creators and diverse stories. Starting this fall, some of Saturday AM's top series will be available on WEBTOON's English-language platform.
First Wave of Titles
The initial batch of vertically reformatted titles includes:
- Clock Striker
- Apple Black
- Hammer
Looking ahead, more series will join the lineup, such as:
- Massive Multiplayer World of Ghosts
- Titan King
- Gunhild
About Saturday AM
Founded in 2013 by Frederick L. Jones, Saturday AM has made a significant impact worldwide, with works published in five languages across nearly 40 countries. Jones emphasizes the importance of representation, saying, "As a Black man, I've long believed manga thrives when it reflects the world around us—just like hip-hop. Partnering with WEBTOON allows us to expand that mission."
