Film Announced With Teaser Visual and Trailer
A brand-new website has officially announced the anime film adaptation of Nowaki Fukamidori's fantasy novel Whoever Steals This Book (Kono Hon wo Nusumu Mono wa). The movie is set to premiere in 2026. Alongside the announcement, the production team unveiled the main staff, a teaser visual, and a teaser trailer for fans to enjoy.

About the Story

Mifuyu is a high school student living in Mikura Hall, a vast library left by her great-grandfather. Despite her family’s ties to this literary legacy, Mifuyu has little interest in books. When several volumes are stolen and an ancient curse is unleashed, the town begins to change according to the stolen stories. Mifuyu, with the help of a mysterious girl named Mashiro, must find the thief and restore order—embarking on an adventure through various book worlds.
