The official website for the upcoming anime adaptation of Kō Nikaido's comedy manga, With You and the Rain (originally titled Ame to Kimi to), has revealed exciting details including the expanded cast, a new visual, and the premiere date.

Special Screenings and Premiere
An advance screening will be held at United Cinema Minatomirai on June 29, with cast members in attendance. The official premiere is scheduled for July 5 at 1:30 a.m. JST and will broadcast on TV Asahi and 23 other affiliates as part of the NUMAnimation block. Additionally, Crunchyroll will stream the series as it airs.

Manga Background
Published by Kodansha USA Publishing in English digital format, the manga follows the story:
"If it looks like a dog and acts like a dog and insists it's a dog, it's…a dog? Probably? She adopted it anyway, and her life with this 'dog' will never be boring!"
Nikaido launched the manga in Young Magazine in August 2020. The seventh volume was published by Kodansha on September 5, and the series' English release came on February 11.
