World Trigger Manga Announces Return in October
The official Twitter account for Daisuke Ashihara's World Trigger manga shared some important news this Monday. Due to the author's health issues, the manga will take a short break and will not publish a new chapter in the upcoming issue of Jump SQ. on August 4. However, fans can look forward to its return in the magazine's October issue, which ships on September 4.
Past Breaks and Health Concerns
World Trigger has experienced several breaks over the years, mainly due to Ashihara’s health. Earlier this year, the manga paused for a month in January to allow the author to work on the next volume. This break was extended into February, but the manga resumed with a new chapter in the April issue.
In addition, the series took breaks in August 2023 and January 2024, both attributed to Ashihara’s health issues.
