The June issue of Shueisha's V Jump magazine revealed on Monday that the Madō Taisen-hen (Magical War arc) of Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Stories, created by Shin Yoshida and Naohito Miyoshi, will begin serialization in the magazine's next issue on May 21.
What to Expect in the New Arc
The story takes place 100 years after Zoroa opened a door to another world.
Three wizards confront Zoroa and manage to seal the door again.
The arc focuses on the "Three Wise Men" and the next generation of wizards.
Recent Developments
The Magistus arc of the manga began in January 2024 and concluded on February 20.
Shueisha published the manga’s fifth compiled volume, featuring the end of the Magistus arc, on April 4.
Konami Digital Entertainment is credited with planning cooperation for the series.
Background of the Series
Launched in April 2022, the manga started with the Sky Strikers storyline, centered on Sky Striker Ace – Raye, who fights to protect her beloved family.
The Sky Strikers arc ended in October 2023.
The manga runs alongside Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Structures, which premiered in June 2019 by Masashi Sato.
Both series are linked to the franchise’s Official Card Game (OCG).
